Any idea why this is???

My Mac book Pro will not back up to my Seagate external hard drive disk anymore.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

"Time Machine has completed a new backup for you," or if you get a message saying it "can't create the backup."


If that message reappears it is likely the TM disk is failing. The best solution is to replace it.
