battery on apple watch

Hey , i bought my series 5 watch 3 days ago and i noticed that the battery information is constantly changing ..

one minute it says im out of battery and the next its full ..could there be some defect ? . not really sure why that’s happenning but it’s kind of annoying ..

also i’ve used a fitbit and samsung galaxy and the battery lasts several days ... it seems like the apple watch needs to be charged every single day.. is that normal? Its brand new ... i find it weird that the new iphones have to be charged daily already... but the watch too? How should i track my sleep and my day activities .. and workouts if i constantly need to charge it ?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup. This deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Personally, I find I need to charge my watch about once a day (the same time I charge my iPhone during the night). I believe that is normal. IMHO, the Apple Watch is not the best option for monitoring sleep patterns, so I give that up and then have no trouble tracking my daily activities and workouts.
