Poor battery life

Is there any discussion on when Apple will make a battery for the Apple Watch that actually works with life? I find it very frustrating that there is a sleep app for a battery that doesn’t last longer then 15-17 hours. How can I wear my watch all day, go to the gym and then wear it to bed to track sleep? My old Fitbit lasted 4-5 days without a charge. Sleep tracking made sense. I took my apple wat h off the other day and I am still unable to find my apple watch in my own home bc it died too fast and won’t ping. Why can’t there be a fail safe in place for those situations? Any thoughts or ideas on how to find this thing?

Hi there,

Unfortunately I can’t help with your battery draining quickly. Personally I charge mines again before sleep while winding down and this lasts well into the afternoon the next day.

In terms of finding your Apple Watch. If the charge has completely depleted then unfortunately the only way to find it is by looking for it. If you think there’s the possibility it could’ve been stolen then this article might be helpful to you:

I hope this helps.
