Backlit Keyboard Still Not Working

I have a backlit keyboard. I deselected "Adjust keyboard brightness in low light" checkbox and pressed Fn F6 to make the keyboard brighter, but nothing happened . What could be causing my issue?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Does it work the way you want if you press F6 directly (without pressing the Fn Key)?

I don't have that option as I have a 2017 MacBook Pro,13-inch with a Touch Bar.
