Earbuds not working

(iPhone 8+) I was using my earbuds a few hours ago and they were fine, but when I tried to use them again the audio wasn’t working in the right ear. Everything is normal in the settings, I’ve tried restarting my phone, and it seems like there’s no blockage in the port. Do I just need to get new earbuds?

In addition to Crynay's comments, check the charging port for lint or other debris and see this:

If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
