Airpods wrong location

Hello , ive got iphone 11 with 13.5 update.

My problem is that my airpods position/location is constantly following my iphone’s location .

Whenever i sign in “find my” app my airpods can be shown exactly next to me (they actually are left at home 50 miles away)

I cannot understand how its possible, and im afraid that in case i loose them i want be able to trace them
