can I use my 2012 MacBook Air as a display screen

I have a new 2020 MacBook Air which I would like to connect to my old MacBook Air (2012). And use the old MacBook as an extended screen. Is this possible and what adapters would I need?

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.15
