can you update GPS on IOS 9.3.5

Only WiFi & Cellular models of iPad have built-in GPS capability. WIFi Only models of iPad do not have any GPS positioning features.

For WiFi & Cellular models that incorporate GPS, the GPS firmware is updated along with iOS.

If your iPad has iOS 9.3.5 installed - and cannot be updated to a more recent version - then you have a WiFi Only model with no GPS capability.

By contrast, If your iPad has or can be updated to iOS 9.3.6 - then you have a WiFi & Cellular model that includes GPS; the GPS firmware will already be as up-to-date as is currently possible.
