Hello. I have an iPhone X and for the past week I try to connect it to it's cable but I don't get any notification that it is charging. It is plugged into the wall and I am sure that it is plugged into my phone the right way. The battery "image" in the control center does not show the lightning strike in it which usually means it's charging. Help please?

Is, after performing all the steps provided, the issue still persists, it could be a hardware (battery?) problem.
Check your battery health in Settings>Battery>Battery Health... and tap there
What's the maximum capacity %?

Use a toothpick to clean out the port.
