MacBook Air Speaker Doesn't Project Sound

I can not get sound to come from my internal speakers on my MacBook Air.


I have went to setting and selected output and MacBook Air Speakers is my only option for selection. After selecting, nothing changes.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Reset that Mac's NVRAM: Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support. It may or may not fix the problem.
