How do you add iAuthor templates to iPages? A few templates in iAuthor are not seen in iPages. Before iAuthor disappears ,would like to save my Fav templates. Pls post how I can do this.

"If you have iBooks Author books you’d like to import into Pages, a book import feature is coming to Pages soon. It will allow you to open and edit iBooks Author files (.iba) in Pages."
So you may must have to wait until Pages is updated.
Just waiting for Apple to say that you need macOS 10.16 or later to use the future Pages version the article refers too. Notice they said that one could continue to use iBooks Author with Catalina or earlier…
You don't. They are two entirely different applications whose template extensions (.ibatemplate .vs. .template) are different, as is the internal document format stored in those templates.
Thanks for your reply. I like a couple of templates in iAuthor. Too bad I have to let it go.
Provided the iBooks Author template does not use features unsupported in Pages, you can recreate it in Pages as a new, custom template.
