I've replaced broken screen on iphone 4 ,now cannot veiw photos , even though setting says I've used 3.6 G of storage....there is nothing there.;(

You can only do it the way it is described in that link I provided to you. Did you click on it? And is your backup file on your computer or in iCloud?

Did you have your phone backed up before you messed with it?
If not, then they are likely gone for good.

Um... no. they are not "backed up in the phone's memory".
If they are not on your phone, and you didn't back them up, they are gone.

In the storage settings it.says I've used 3.6GB of space for photos & camera
with photos
But there nothing there .
Do a backup of your phone to a computer then restore the iPhone from that backup. Or do the same with iCloud. Then restore the iPhone. Or just sync the photos to a computer.
