How do you copy 1 ITunes playlist (2500+ songs) from a PC to a USB flash drive? I want to transfer the playlist to my car's hard drive media center and play the songs directly from the car instead of my iphone.

At one point you could drag and drop directly from a playlist to a folder on an external drive but it seems this doesn't always work with flash drives at present. See ExportToFolder for a script that should be able to copy over the files in a layout suitable for your device.

i_rina, thanks for the reply to my question. I read and tried the instructions but that copies my entire Itunes library. I only want to copy 1 (large) playlist that is a subset of my entire library. My entire Itunes library is bigger than my flash drive and my car's hard drive. Is there a way to copy or export/import only 1 playlist to a USB drive? Thanks so much for taking the time to help me.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that you want to copy your iTunes playlist to a USB flash drive, so that you can upload the music to your car’s media center. I’m happy to help.
Please follow the steps in the section titled “Back up your library and media files” here: Back up and restore your iTunes library on your PC - Apple Support
Once you’ve done this, please follow the steps in your car manual or from the manufacturer of your car radio on how to transfer the playlist to your car’s media center.
