Does any one have any advise on how to stop these unwanted alerts? Often they will come during a phone call- making it impossible to talk on the phone.
Change your iCloud password.
The only way someone can use Find My to track you is if they have your account credentials or are part of your family sharing group.
If it's a family member, tell them to stop doing that.
