Block unwanted text

Does anyone know how to only allow text messages from people in my contact list? Using the block function for telephone calls but now getting those messages via text.

Blocked numbers still able to text me I’m having problems with texts from people I don’t know, unwanted messages. To block them, I have to put the number in my contacts and then block it. Tonight they are still able to text me! I’m so tired of this! Why can’ti block the text without having to keep the number as one of my contacts? And what is with the people who send out these texts, it looks like they send them to 20 or more people at once. Like anyone would really click on that? What can I do to stop this?

no texts unless in contacts Hi. I need help. I want to block, not silence or put in a spam folder, all texts that are not in my contacts. How do I do that? Is it even possible? I keep getting spam texts. I block them. They simply change their number and call again the next day or even the same day. I’ve filed so many complaints I’m sure I’ve killed a forest of trees. I just want to keep texts from showing up in any way like only allowing calls that are in my contacts. Please, can someone give me a hand here? It will be much appreciated. Thank you!!!
