2017 Camaro and 11 Pro Max CarPlay isn’t working

I have a 2017 camaro and 11 pro max, taken it to Chevy to have the system updated and everything. It works on a Ford Focus but every time I try to connect to the car it has the pop up then nothing initiates after that. Anyone have any fixes?

I understand you're having trouble getting your phone to work in a Chevy Camaro, though it works fine in a Ford Focus. I'm happy to help!


The good news is that if your phone connects to your Focus without issue, there's no problem with the phone. I can suggest going through the information outlined in the Apple Support article How to connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your car - Apple Support, but would encourage you to double check with Chevrolet to determine if the stereo system is compatible with the iOS software you are running. While you may have the most recent updates to the stereo system, Chevy may need to release a newer version to make it compatible with your device.
