iPad storage full notification error.
hi I have made a screen recording to show that my iPad is not full in storage despite getting a alert/notification. This also occurs at a time with my iPhone 7+
iPad Air, iPadOS 13

Thanks for providing the screenshot. It adds a lot of clarity.
When that pops up, I suggest clicking “Manage Storage” to see if that paints a different iPad Storage picture than you showed above.
I believe the Goodnotes app requires a lot of scratch space storage while it is running.
Yes, that app is very likely the cause of your issues.
thank you for your reply, but it was not the answer I was looking for....
thank you, good question.
I was using the goodnotes 5 app (for studies) and it also had an error i emptied the app trash and then the notification were persisting.
“Full” does not mean you have occupied each and every byte of storage. That much is not available to you.
You need an absolute minimum of 10% of your iPad’s storage free at all times.
Cheque if your iCloud storage is full.
it is also not.
neither the icloud nor the ipad storage are half full.
Of course, you have not told us the context in which you see a storage full message. Perhaps it refers to your computer.
i did click "manage storage" and it took me to the screen shot, you see in previously post.
and i had to offload the app (good notes5) and the error is no longer present!
thank you for your time
Glad your issue is resolved.
Enjoy your Apple gear!
