Hi Guys,
I have accidentally deleted some video files that Final Cut Pro is using in some of my projects. I have everything backed up with the time machine and have these videos on an external drive as well, but would like to just restore it so I don't have to redo all the projects...
I just don't know where the video files were stored and my tries so far haven't worked.

it worked when I relinked the files and I just copied the files back on MacBook from my external hard drive! Thank you so much! It solved the problem right away while I tried to figure it out all day today beforehand.
Select the missing file in the FCP browser. Use File>Relink Files. It will show you what the expected file path is supposed to be. If you have Time Machine it see be in the same location. Find it in the TM folder structure and copy it back to where it should be.
