Epson Stylus CX4800

I have an Epson Stylus CX4800 printer. Connected to iMac OS 10.10.5

The following message appears 'Communication error'.

I hve tried unplugging everything. Same message.

Cleaned the print heads and installed all new ink cartridges. Same message

The printer scans perfectly, no problems there.

Can anyone help?

OSVentura will not connect to HP printers Installed OS Ventura on MacBook Pro and it will not connect to HP Officejet Pro 9010 or Envey 5530 All in one. Can anyone help. Overtime Apple comes out with new software I have problems with printers.

Try resetting the printing system as described here: If you can't print from your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support.
