As far as I can tell, there is one last file left from Parallels, but I cannot delete it. Any suggestions of how to do so, or if it not consequential at all?
It is located at:
Macintosh HD > Library > StagedExtensions > Applications > Parallels Desktop
The last -- Parallels Desktop -- is listed as an Application in the folder Applications and is 522KB.

Use Parallels Uninstaller:
If you tant to Uninstall Parallels, then using an uninstaller. Just dragging it into the Trash,will leave cached files, and other files (like this one you have), residing about your macOS. It is the same ordeal as when you remove MS Office or a Security Software Application- use an uninstaller.

If that is not successful, then you may have to reinstall Parallels, and then run the uninstallers.
