I tallied up all the apps, system storage, etc and it was about 60gb but my phone says I’ve used 103gb and most of it was apps yet I don’t have many apps downloaded let alone apps that take up a lot of storage. Is there something that could cause this?

I understand you're concerned about the storage space on your iPhone with apps taking up a majority part. I'd like to help. You may want to sync your iPhone with iTunes to see if syncing helps. Also, if you haven't done so already, restart your iPhone. Sometimes a restart helps resolve issues.

You also have the update downloaded, you may want to finish updating to see if your storage adjusts.

Sudden decrease in available storage
