Hi, for some reason Airplay icon disappeared after my update. I checked my settings and in displays I cannot turn Airplay on. Anyone else? Suggestions? Thanks. I have an older Macbook Pro I did not update yet and Airplay is still displayed.

Start by doing a safe boot of the Mac. This will clear some cache files, turn off some system extensions and log-in items and give you a good foundation. After doing the safe boot, reboot normally and test.

If the issue persists after a safe boot, set up a test user account in order to isolate the issue to the system or the user data and ultimately resolve it.

I see you are having some difficulty with AirPlay since updating a Mac. You'll only see AirPlay options if another AirPlay-capable device is on the same network.

Thanks, I know that. I guess that you might not have read that on my un-updated Mac my airplay is still working. All my devices are on the same network.
