iMac no sound on startup
My sound is missing on startup - I have Catalina 10.15.5 2017 model
Have they removed it?
iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 10.15
Beginning with the 2017 iMacs Apple dropped the startup chime.

FWIW, if you miss the startup chime, see this page for a possible workaround.

you may have one of these programs?! OnyX or Cocktail , in parameters/login here you can turn that sound on or off.I hope it helps.
