The ApplePay on iPhone XR

The ApplePay on my iPhone XR doesn't work. I have tried the troubleshooting steps like switching the phone off and trying it back on, removing the cards and adding them again, resetting the settings. The software on the phone is also up-to-date. Any leads on this would be much appreciated!

ApplePay / NFC Chip Fail on latest iOS13Patch I updated to the latest iOS 13.2.3 patch - which fixed the bug for icon rearranging while zoom is enabled - and now ApplePay doesn’t work, specifically the NFC chip on my iPhone 6s Plus stopped functioning. I went to Apple’s Genius Bar, the tech openly admitted iOS 13 is super buggy - he ran a diagnostic and said the NFC chip was not throwing a hardware error but confirmed it was not functioning, therefore the next step is to wipe the phone with a factory reset and hope it’s a software bug. If that fails I was advised my best option would be to trade in 6s Plus and spend $400 on an 8 Plus — Thanks Apple!!!
