I cannot, CANNOT, figure this out. I want to digitally scrap on my beautiful new ipad Pro 2020, but I can't sort out how to transfer a LOT of png & jpg files to the iPad. I've tried various programs, which are clunky and unbelievably time-consuming, at best, and those don't work anyway. I bought a spendy adapter from Best Buy that also doesn't work the way I thought it would. Please tell me there is a way to do this!

The ipad reads 8 digit file names - DSC_1234.jpg for example. So keep your file names to 8 digits (letters or numbers or a combo), then put those photos in a folder named DCIM and put that folder on the SD card. Then try to import

There are a billion Youtube videos about using external drives with iPad Pro. I'd suggest watching some, as some of them can be really helpful.
Thanks! I'm not sure how well I could do that - I have about 3/4 of a T of files, of various kinds and from various sources. But I'm going to give this a try and see if I can still make it work. Appreciate it. :)
That's basically what I bought too. I thought it would make it so much easier, but it seems to be either not working at all or, at the very least, isn't doing what I thought it would do. Maybe it's operator error - I'm somewhat computer literate, but this stuff is all new to me. Meh - it's frustrating.
Still can't get it. Apple really needs to add the ability to do tasks like this in the next update if they want the iPad to be considered a true workhorse. I was naive in thinking I could just use the files I have on a new iPad with a ton of memory. Silly me.

I bought the 1T iPad Pro, so I have the storage, but I can't figure out how to use it in the way I thought I could. There has to be video tutorials on that as well, I'm sure.
If you can think of a subject having to do with iPad, there's likely a Youtube video which talks to it.
Do you own a full computer? Mac or Windows PC?
