Importing png & jpg files

I cannot, CANNOT, figure this out. I want to digitally scrap on my beautiful new ipad Pro 2020, but I can't sort out how to transfer a LOT of png & jpg files to the iPad. I've tried various programs, which are clunky and unbelievably time-consuming, at best, and those don't work anyway. I bought a spendy adapter from Best Buy that also doesn't work the way I thought it would. Please tell me there is a way to do this!

The way to use that adapter - I’m presuming the SD card reader, is to mimic how a camera sets up its file structure.

The ipad reads 8 digit file names - DSC_1234.jpg for example. So keep your file names to 8 digits (letters or numbers or a combo), then put those photos in a folder named DCIM and put that folder on the SD card. Then try to import

That’s how a digital camera structures its files so you have to mimic that.
