Macbook Air 2020 - not compatible with Zoom virtual background!

Just received my new MacBook Air 2020 13" - extremely disappointed in 2 aspects.

The webcam sucks - it is so grainy. Thought the 720 webcam would be hugely increased from my MacBook pro 2016 420 - it's pretty poor.
i3 processor is not compatible with Zoom virtual background. So after spending $1600 I still can't add a virtual background to my Zoom meetings.

Thinking about returning this and looking at a Windows machine. This after 15 years of Mac... any thoughts?

I specifically purchased the 13" as my hands are very small.

Virtually every review I have seen recommends spending the additional $100 to upgrade the i3 processor to the i5. If you are within the return period, that may be an option to consider.

Based solely on the reviews I have read, that is what I would do.

And I’ve just gone online and the MacBook Air 13 inch now has the i7 Processor. So annoying so I will send mine back and order a new one

Both the i5 and i7 have been options since the initial release of the current MacBook Air. I haven't paid much attention to the i7 as that is more than I would need or want.
