I deleted my Apple ID, but it is still logged in on my iPad. I press logout and it tells me to put in the password to the account, but when I do it says "You do not have an account." HOW AM I STILL SIGNED IN WITH A DELETED APPLE ID?!?

Did you sign your AppleID out of everything in that device before the AppleID was deleted by Apple? If you did not, then there is nothing Apple will be able to do for you as posted here by others who also failed to sign out before their AppleID was deleted. Once the AppleID is actually deleted, there is no way to disassociate that AppleID with that device. The AppleID must be signed out before the deletion process completes.

  • Make sure that you sign out of all your devices to avoid issues with apps that use your Apple ID account or iCloud. After your account is deleted, you can't sign out of iCloud or turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock on your devices. If you forget to sign out, you might not be able to use your device when your account is deleted.

Very interesting. It's almost like the deletion process is half way complete if that makes any sense. I have to leave the house now, but I'll keep thinking about your problem and get back to you if I come up with anything. Good luck with it.  if you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple may be able to remove the ID if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)
