Can I use the Yamaha PSR293 keyboard with GB2?

i am considering getting a yamaha PSR293 keyboard for midi work with GB2 on my mac mini.
the keyboard uses USB for midi interface, which is new to me. I have been using the DIN interface connected to the sound card my pc with my old keyboard which just broke hence my need for a new one.
unfortuately the yamaha site says: "Simply connect the keyboard to your computer via the convenient USB connector and transfer songs to the keyboard for learning or listening (PC only)."
i really want to use this with garage band
will it not work at all? partially work?
i don't really care that much about that yamaha-exclusive software stuff, but more the midi-interface aspects of it

well, thanks for the help

Addendum: You can also enable the bug toolbar in Safari. It has a 'copy link html tag' feature. To activate and use the bug menu:

1. Open Safari

2. Go to the view menu and select 'bug.' The bug action menu will appear in your toolbar.

3. Navigate to the site you wish to copy

4. While at the site select 'copy link html tag' from the bug menu. This will not only copy the link but add the html code as well.
