Payment Authorsation Failed

Hi! I’ve been trying to purchase an Apple Pencil (1st Gen) on Apple’s website. However, after I tried to place my order, it says that my payment authorisation failed. I don’t know why this is happening. Hoping that you can help me. Thank you!
