how to unlock my iPad through itunes

I changed my passcode and now can't remember it. My iPad is now disabled. It is linked to my iTunes account but I don't know how to get it working again.

you connect it by cable to a computer with itunes installed

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support
