Lost Airpod Pro Questions

Hello so i recently lost my airpods pro in the case and someone has for sure stolen them. I had find my option on but it’s out of bluetooth range and I am wondering if someone connected or paired it with their device or resetted the airpods, am i still able to find them? or am i pretty much screwed

Another question : what makes an airpod pro eligible to be found on find my? It does not display on my find my iphone right now so what are the requirements for it to be found?
