Shortcut key in Finder on MacBook Pro

Looking for shortcut key for Finder to move cursor back to last edit point, the equivalent of Shift F5 in Word for MacBook Pro. Am renaming a lot of file names, and moving between sub-folders, so would like to get back to last edit point quickly. Thank you if anyone has a suggestion.

Confused about keyboard shortcuts I am new to using MacOS and I just had trouble figuring out some keyboard shortcuts , especially the one's on Finder. When I try to view my path bar to the particular folder I am on by hitting option-command-p on my keyboard , it brings up Finder Preferences instead. I have a similar problem with going to the downloads folder with option-command-L , it instead just shrinks my Icon size. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong and if I should do anything to fix this.

How to remove third column in Finder Windows on macOS 13.5.1? A couple of days ago the appearance of my Finder windows changed. For decades the Finder windows have consisted of only two columns: the sidebar on the left and the larger window showing the documents in the folder at which I am looking. But recently a third column has appeared to the right of the main column. This third column show a thumbnail of whatever document I have highlighted in the main column of the Finder window. I do not know what to call this third column. I call it a right-side side bar simply because that is what it looks like to me. I can close this third column by dragging its left border over to the right side of the Finder window. That gets tedious. I expect that this "right-side side bar" appeared when I made some errant keystroke while doing something else. I have no idea what this incorrect keystroke might be. Does anyone recognize what I am trying to describe here? Is there some way to remove this third column from my Finder windows? I am in MacOS 13.5.1. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Monterey hidden files shortcut not working. Hi Everyone, I am trying to unhide files starting with . such as .zshrc As it has been stated by various sources I have tried the following shortcuts on my Finder. shift + command + .(period) shift + command + ** For the first shortcut it makes icons bigger and nothing else. For the second one, I can't seem to make the second shortcut work as it is impossible for me to create * while holding down shift key. I am using Turkish Q keyboard which might be reason for this problem. Thanks.
