EE UK eSIM transfer from old iPhone to new iPhone after setup

Hi guys

I am just wondering whether any of you have ever been able to transfer their eSIM to new iPhones from the old one. According to this Apple article, it's possible to do so: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210655

However, once I asked this to an EE CR he said that he had no idea. So I am wondering whether any of you with EE has ever tried to do so. On the internet, most people are able to do so apparently. But I want to know whether it works with EE as well.

Update: I have been able to successfully activate my EE UK eSIM in Canada.

Firstly, I had an eSIM active on my sister's phone who was using my icloud account.

An attempt to transfer it failed. As it is not supported by EE UK itself.

Then I ordered a new eSIM QR code, since they are single use only, and activated the eSIM by scanning a picture of the QR code. My device started receiving signals from TELUS Canada in about an hour or so.

I understand from your question that you are curious abut transferring your eSIM line to a different phone. I can certainly help you with this!
