if i buy more storage will my stuff backup

If my phone is disabled and my storage is full, if I buy more storage, will it save my stuff?

I might need to factor reset, but I have important things that I cannot delete. How do I save it?

If your iPhone is disabled, the only way to get back into it would be to restore it. This process will completely erase your phone and you would have to have an existing backup to restore from.

If you are asking can you back it up before using this process than the answer, unfortunately, is no ... regardless of how much or little iCloud Drive space is available.

1) Is your iPhone disabled? Does it state that it is disabled?

2) If your iPhone's storage is full then no matter how much external storage you buy, it will not increase your iPhone's internal storage space. The iCloud storage is designed to be used as a synch service and not additional storage.

3) You need to SAVE and create a backup of your iPhone first before you factory reset and not after. If your iPhone is disabled then you are not going to be able to create a backup before your reset your passcode or factory reset it.

You can reset your passcode by following the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ How to reset your passcode on a disabled iPhone. You will need a computer for this task and all your data on your iPhone will be wiped clean in the process.

If you have a backup created then you can ➔ Restore Your iPhone from that backup file. If you do not have a backup file created then you will lose all your data on the iPhone.

If Photos, Messages and Contacts are synced to iCloud then you will be able to retrieve them after setting up iCloud on your iPhone after you reset the passcode and sign into iCloud.
