Amber light stays on while charging the case for airpods 2 (wireless)

Hello. Is it just me or does your airpods case have amber light on the whole time the case is charging? Even after the case is fully charged, it is still reflecting amber light. I just know it's fully charged when I checked it through my fone. Please note however that it is still charging fine. My main concern is just the amber light if it's normal. Have already raised with Apple support through chat but I just wasted my 1.5hours with them. Wasn't able to determine the issue at all but instead told me to just go to authorized apple service technician.
