iMac 27″, macOS 10.14
Where is the library and the media stored? How large is the system drive and how much free space? Please give complete specs of the system.
What computer is it?
What happened after reboot? Hold Opt-Cmd as you launch the application to reset the preferences.
Opt-Cmd didn’t reset the preferences?
If the system drive is internal I can’t see what would cause this unless it’s a software conflict. Maybe an EtreCheck report could point to something.
Final cut library is stored in user/movies and The media is stored in Desktop. The captions are store in downloads. I have 1t of storage and 90 gbs of free space.
