bluetooth devices are not being found in ipad pro 2nd gen.

I am not finding any Bluetooth devices on iPad Pro 2nd gen. When I go to Bluetooth it shows devices and it is just spinning. I have tried turning iPad off and on, turning Bluetooth off and on, and turning airplane mode off and on. I was gifted an iPad pencil 3rd gen and it does not pair.

HELP

Bluetooth devices on IPad Pro. Has entone experienced an issue were your bluetooth devices do not connect to your IPad Pro the next time you try to do so? I have an IPad Pro and I use a Logitech keyboard and a bluetooth mouse, and some times, not every time they do not connect to the IPad even though they are already paired, I have to turn off the IPad and they they will. Iphone 12 bluetooth device search wheel just keeps spinning. My iPhone 12 does not find any bluetooth devices. Even after shutting bluetooth on and off and rebooting the phone, we still get the spinning wheel next to devices, with no pairing code generated. SMH

Probably because it isn't compatible look here Apple Pencil compatibility - Apple Support Use Apple Pencil with your iPad or iPad Pro - Apple Support

So there is nothing wrong with bluetooth.

Ok, but why does it attach by magnet within the pen to my iPad?

I don't have one, but I assume that is universal for all ipad, as that is where the pencil goes.
