Iphone 12 bluetooth device search wheel just keeps spinning.

My iPhone 12 does not find any bluetooth devices. Even after shutting bluetooth on and off and rebooting the phone, we still get the spinning wheel next to devices, with no pairing code generated. SMH

You need to ensure the device you are attempting to connect to is in discovery/pairing mode. See this support document for help in connecting Bluetooth devices. If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support Not all devices generate pairing codes. It would depend on the device.

Try pairing to the car again. I had no trouble pairing to my 2015 C-300. Make sure there is no car pairing currently listed in the iPhone, the same with the car. Then turn on the car, go to the phone area. Open Settings on the iPhone, open Bluetooth. On the car, go ahead and have it search for a vehicle. If you still have problems, then on the iPhone, go ahead and go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Then power cycle the phone and try pairing again.

We are trying to connect our new iPhone 12 to a 2010 Mercedes Benz C-300 Sport. Pairing our iPhone 6 was so easy. We turned on the car and unpaired the old iPhone and directed the car bluetooth to discover the new phone, it did. But the new iPhone 12 bluetooth search wheel just kept spinning. We already tried everything on your list.
