after deleting app I cannot get it back on screen. When I look in App Store it just says open but doesn’t go on home screen how can I get app back

Are you sure you deleted the app and not just moved it to another screen or folder? Or hid it? Try searching for it;

If you are sure you deleted it, then restart your iPhone and try downloading from the App Store again:
