smbd
what does “smbd” do and should you allow it to have access to mail, messages, safari, home, time machine backups and certain admin settings on your Mac. It was checked with full disk access on my Mac and not certain why????

smbd is the server daemon that provides file sharing and printing services to other computer clients.
So, do you have File Sharing set up in Sys Prefs>Sharing?
