Apple Cash Account restricted

Noticed in my wallet app that my Apple Cash account appears to be restricted. With the lockdown and all I haven't tried using it in a while. But I do use my Apple Credit Card. Noticed that my cash back for purchases on the card has not been going in for a few months!

Called Apple. Was told they need to reset the account. Fine and dandy. They had me transfer the money that was in there (not the new $ that should have been in there for the last few months mind you) to my bank. No problem.

Then they tell me that they can't reset it!

I asked "Does this mean that I can never ever have a Apple Cash account again?"

The answer was yes!!!

So now I gotta call back in a few days...
