Sensor on one AirPod doesn’t work

Hi guys,

I got a pair of AirPods delivered today and seemed to work fine at first glance. Audio works perfect on both but the left one doesn’t respond to double-tap requests and isn’t recognised whenever I take it out of my ear or put it back in. I have to use the right to do this. I’ve done all the classic troubleshooting options and hard resets, but after trying it on another phone, the left AirPod never responds. I know it’s not a major problem but they are brand-new and kind of pricey so I am a bit peeved tbh. Anyone else have this problem?
