cant delete a program

the program is open and i cant either close or delete it

Under the Apple Menu use the Force Quit option.

Final Video Player installed itself Two applications, "Final Video Player" and "Eimedia Video Player", appeared on my computer without me knowingly installing them. "Final Video Player" also set itself as the default. Does anyone know how this might of happened. Also, if I try to delete either of these a box opens requesting my pass word. I don't remember ever having to enter a pass word to delete a file, so I am hesitant to enter it.
