My phone doesn’t receive calls from eg a hospital

When a hospital eg calls me ,,, my phone never rings I just get a missed call from the number ,,, I could be looking at my phone when the missed calls come up it totally doesn’t ring at all and it’s always from a hospital or a with held number ect ??
