Reset phone
I just got a new iPhone and had to manually set it up in order to activate it. Can I now reset it to factory settings and install my last back-up via icloud without losing carrier settings?

If you reset it to Factory Settings then carrier settings will be lost. You need to activate and install carrier settings again.
