Move Chrome to Applications file.

I replaced Chrome with Safari recently Tried to remove Chrome from dock removed from preferences tried to hide it or force quit and it states Not responding so how can it be removed from my dock

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand you'd like to remove Google Chrome from appearing in the Dock of your Mac.


It's important to customize the layout of your Mac, and I'd like to help.


I personally have Google Chrome in my Dock, and to help remove it, you can right click > select, Options > Remove from Dock. An alternative option is to click and drag the app to the Trash icon in the Dock.
