every time I try to download anything on the App Store it says verification required and when I enter my iCloud password it takes me to my billing info and nothing happens. I have funds on Apple ID and also have linked my back card.

Yes it did thank you very much. It turns out I had an unpaid balance, I don’t understand how because I had funds on my Apple Pay, but it seems apple wanted to charge my bank card directly
