iPad cellular
So i just purchased a iPad Air with cellular. Do i still need to take it to tmobile and add it to my line and pay for it monthly ? Cause if so then what is the point of even buying a iPad with cellular

The point of buying an iPad with cellular+GPS hardware is so it is capable of being added to your data plan (and allow software to know your location accurately). The iPads without cellular hardware can only use wifi connections or tethering through your phone to access the Internet.
