Forgot icloud activation lock

HI. Sir, unfortunatly i forgot my icloud Apple ID and Password of my ipad2,7 mini. after update IOS apple id and password not in mind to activate my ipad. please help me and resolve my issue. God Bless you.

activation lock is a theft protection


how you remove it

Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support


if you forgot your appleID

https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid


otherwise you need apples assistance

If your device is Activation Locked, this help page will provide most of the information that you’ll need:

If you have forgotten your AppleID or associated password, these can be recovered here:

To recover your credentials, you’ll need access to one of the following:

  • Your primary email address mailbox that corresponds with your AppleID
  • Any of the secondary/recovery email addresses that should be configured for your AppleID account
  • Any of the trusted telephone numbers (fixed line or Cellular/Mobile) that are associated with your AppleID


Unless you AppleID account has not been fully/correctly configured, or has been seriously neglected, recovery of the AppleID and password should not be difficult.

When you recover access to your credentials, you would be well advised to log-in to your AppleID account from a web browser - and verify/update any email addresses and trusted telephone numbers:

Nobody here is from Apple. Nobody here can directly resolve your problem “from the back end”. All we can offer is advice and technical guidance.


All contributors within the Apple Support Communities are end-user customers of Apple, just like you. These Community pages are where you come to seek help from other knowledgable end-users, who try to help where they can.


As for your immediate problem, If you have failed to properly configure your AppleID account with multiple recovery email addresses and trusted telephone numbers - and are now unable to self-recover your AppleID - your options are very limited.


Ultimately, it is your responsibility to configure and maintain your AppleID account, keeping your recovery details up to date.


Your remaining option is to locate and produce to Apple the original sales invoice, that clearly shows the device serial number. If you have adequate proof of ownership of the iPad, Apple might assist in reseting your iPad. Recovering access to your AppleID account - and all associated App and Service purchases that are forever tied to it - is something else entirely.
