Apple Warranty Battery Replacement

So if my Apple warranty (not Apple care) ends in November this year and my battery health decreases to like 84% during that time, can I get my battery replaced no charge or does it not work like that? If not how does it work?

Batteries are consumable parts of an iPhone and are not covered by the warranty.
